The Welfare Rights Service provides free information and assistance to help people who live in Leicester to get their correct benefit entitlements. The service also offers benefit checking and form filling appointments at Children's Centres.

The Money Advice Service helps people manage their money. this is his is . We do this directly through our own free and impartial advice service. We also work in partnership with other organisations to help people make the most of their money. We are an independent service, set up by government.
Community Support Grant
Community support grant is a scheme offers to types of grans which support vulnerable people experiencing financial difficulties, these are:
- Crisis grant
Where a person has suffered a sudden and unexpected misfortune and is left with no funds for their immediate daily essentials.
- Support grant
Where a person needs support to establish themselves or remain in the community.
Debt Support Trust
Debt Support Trust a registered charity that provides debt advice and support for people who are struggling to manage their debts.
Big difference scheme
The Big Difference scheme has been set up by Severn Trent Water to help those who are finding it difficult to pay their water bill. The scheme offers a chance to get a reduction ranging from 10% - 90% off the average yearly charge. If you are accepted on to the scheme, the discount applied is valid for 12 months from date of approval.
