Pre-school (2 - 5 years)

The first few years are the most important in your child's learning and development.

Free early education

Funded childcare is available to eligible two year olds and all three and four year olds. This offer can be taken up with a childminder, pre-school, nursery or a school based nursery.  All childcare providers will following the Early Years Foundation Stage.  Find out more information more about free early education.

Activities for young children

There are a lot of activities and venues where parents and carers can take their young child to for fun and learning experiences.   A sample of groups are:
