Half term food offer
Leicester City Council is working in partnership with Samworth Brothers to give eligible families the opportunity to shop for free food and groceries for use over the May half term holiday.
Registration update
Registration closed on Monday 6 May 2024. Late applications and requests to change venues will not be accepted.
If you have registered for a place by the closing date, responses will be sent to the email address provided on the application form after 10 May 2024.
Please note: If more than one application has been made for your household we will only process the last application received.

Who can apply?
This offer is for families who have children that meet all of the following criteria:
- receive benefits-related free school meals
- who are in full time school (4 to 16 years)
- live in Leicester City or attend a city school if they live outside of Leicester
Things to consider before you register
- Consider the location, date and times slots before making your choice
- Consider how you will transport your shopping from the venue
- Only one shopping slot can be requested
- Multiple applications for a household will not be considered and only the last application received will be processed.
