Children's speech and language therapy service
We are a NHS team of speech and language therapists and support workers who provide episodes of care to children and young people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Our service
We offer a range of services which we deliver in time – limited episodes of care. We support children and young people who have difficulties with:
- Speech, language and communication skills
- Eating, drinking and swallowing skills
The service works closely with families, parents and carers to improve children and young people’s progress in these areas and to ensure that their potential for learning , social and emotional development is reached.
If a child meets our referral criteria a referral can be made to our service by
- the parent or carer; or
- Schools, nurseries, other educational settings
