Shopping themed Easter children’s activity day highlighting our 'Popping to the Shops' exhibition. Design and make your own egg and spring flowers and basket from card to put them in.- 11am – 3pm at Newarke Houses Museum

- Easter arts and crafts workshops - Make a bunny mask and take part in the Easter egg competition by designing your own egg.
- 12noon – 3pm at The Brite Centre
- Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

- Railways Gala Day - Enjoy fun rides on the steam locomotive Leonard. In addition, all narrow-gauge locos will be running together with a display of model railways of all sizes in the marquee
- 11.30am – 4pm at Abbey Pumping Station
- Train rides - 50p cash only
- Vaisakhi at the Museum - A free family day at the museum to celebrate Vaisakhi with lectures, displays and arts and crafts activities.
- 11am – 3pm at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery
Week long activities
Activities that are open throughout the whole of the Easter holiday.
- Belgrave Hall Guided Tours - Free guided tours of the wonderful Belgrave Hall and Gardens, learn about the history of the buildings and the families that lived there.
- 11.30am - 3.30pm at Belgrave Hall
- Easter treasure hunt - Enjoy a Woodland Creatures Treasure Hunt, find all of the woodland creatures and win a fun pack and bookmark. Colour in a creature to add to our woodland scene and take a selfie as an Easter bunny
- 23 March to 6 April during opening hours at Beaumont Leys Library
