Consultation - Early Help
We are seeking views on proposed changes to the way we deliver early help
(0 – 19) services through children centres and adventure playgrounds.
You can have your say on the future of these services by completing our online questionnaire. The consultation is open to service users, members of the pubic, staff, partner organisations and referral agencies. The closing date for the consultation is Tuesday 6 December 2016.
The reason behind these proposed changes is simple - the grant we receive from the government has fallen by almost 50% since 2010 and we need to make further cuts of £55 million by 2019. This is on top of the £100 million of savings we have already made.
This consultation is part of a wide-ranging spending review that is looking at services across the council.
