Love Parks Week
Join Leicester City Council’s Parks Services and local volunteers for a community litter pick, family-friendly activities and a chance to celebrate one of Leicester’s much-loved green spaces.

Teddy bears picnic
Bring the kids and a teddy for a fun day of teddy bear crafts and activities at Newarke Houses Museum. Find our giant 6ft tall teddy in the museum and pictures of popular teddy bear story book characters in our garden trail, then make your own teddy ears hat and bag.
- 12noon to 3pm at Newarke Houses
