Wednesday 15 July
- Dino adventure day
Come on a dino adventure with us at Newarke Houses Museum. Kids can make their own explorer’s hat and a hatching dinosaur egg. Follow the trail around the gardens to find all the dinosaur pictures. Then take your photo next to our time travelling grandfather clock.- 12noon to 3pm at Newarke Houses

We love the art work you see at festivals – decorate your own banner with your imaginary band or maybe your name and hang it up at home (suitable for ages 5+). Colouring activities for under 5’s also available.

Shakespeare's plays were performed at Leicester Guildhall. Bring the kids to join in our craft event, inspired by some of Shakespeare's famous characters. Make a donkey ears hat, a fairy wand and bear game, and find the pictures in our Shakespeare plays trail around the museum.- 12noon to 3pm at Leicester Guildhall
