Leicester Parent Carer Forum

The Leicester Parent Carer Forum meets to help plan and shape city services that are important to parent carers and their children. Their involvement covers all cultures, communities and disability groups but you don’t have to be a committee member to benefit from what they do.

Big Mouth Forum

The Big Mouth Forum is for 11 to 24 year olds who meet each month to hear about activities and services that take place in the city. They also advise organisations offering activities and services on how to make themselves accessible to people with disabilities.

This is what children and young people and parent/carers tell us about their experiences in Leicester.

The Rights and Participation Service three short films created with children and young people around what is needed to help improve how we listen, and more importantly ensure children and young people have an influence on decisions that are made about them.
