The Council are proposing bringing together Elmbrook Primary School and Leicester Partnership School into one combined school with aligned leadership, governance and resources through the creation of one management committee (whilst continuing to operate across two sites). The Council are proposing this to:

  • Create greater oversight through the creation of one management committee and strengthen leadership capacity
  • Provide a clearer and more inclusive pathway for children and young people with a range of needs
  • Enable a collaborative curriculum and specialist support across phases
  • Support a more efficient and sustainable use of funding
