Local Offer Live

Local Offer Live was a free event on Thursday 6 March 2025 at The Kube, Leicester Racecourse, showcasing services for children and young people with SEND and their families.

The event featured 50 stalls from Education, Social Care, Health, and the Voluntary Sector, offering families a chance to meet service providers and learn about local support.

Activities for children and young people included arts and crafts, storytelling, and more, provided by the Early Years Support Service, Soft Touch Arts, and Library Services.

There were performances by local students, including Hayden Rosario from Nether Hall School on the glockenspiel and The Starz from Ashfield Academy singing "Red Red Wine." The Big Mouth Forum hosted a Question Time session.

The afternoon kicked off with Celebration of Success Awards, where ten young people were recognized for their achievements with trophies from local businesses and Leicester City Council departments and ended with another performance by Eaga Gospel Choir with Ezra Mbogo.
