Home Start Horizons

Home Start Horizons offers specialist parenting support along with practical and emotional advice in the homes of families with young children across Leicestershire and Rutland who are having difficulties managing parenting for a variety of different reasons.

The following support sessions are taking place for families who live in Leicester:

Date and time:

• Thursday 9 January 2025
• 7pm till 8.30pm via Microsoft teams

The session will help you to:

• Understand more about postnatal illness and how it affects your partner, your family and you.
• Discuss ways to support your partner, and how to look after yourself.
• Talk things through in a supportive and confidential environment

Online sessions for partners who are supporting someone with post-natal illness and are suffering from stress, anxiety or depression after baby is born. 

Whether you are dad, partner, grandparent, sister or a friend, you can find out about:

• post-natal illness and how it affects your loved one, your family and you
• how to support your partner
• how to get support for yourself

The online sessions take place at 7pm to 8.30pm via Microsoft Teams on:

• Tuesday  8 July 2025

If you live in Leicester city and have a child under the age of 5, why not join Satadads!

This session gives you time for you to play and have fun with your  children, meet other dads and find friendship and support.

Satadads! takes place on the last Saturday of the month between 10.30am to 12noon at:
