Your Voice

Your Voice is the place to share ideas, find support and to make a difference to not only your own life but sometimes city-wide too.  Your Voice is for young people with SEND and their parents and carers.

Leicester Parent Carer Forum

The Forum meets to help plan and shape city services that are important to them and their children. Their involvement includes all cultures, communities and disability groups, but you don’t have to be a committee member to benefit from what they do.

Advocacy Groups

There are two meetings in Leicester for 14 to 25 year olds with learning disabilities and difficulties; a self advocacy group and a peer advocacy group.
The groups help you to speak up for yourself or have someone speak for you.

Preparing for Adulthood Group

The Preparing for Adulthood Group has an important role in the city to tell those who carry our services what opportunities and support is needed for young people with special educational needs.

Big Mouth Forum

The Big Mouth Forum is for 11 to 24 year olds who meet each month to hear about activities and services that take place in the city. They also advise those organisations on how to make themselves accessible to people with disabilities.
